Here are pictures of guitars that customers of Guitar Building Templates have successfully built!
Here is another great build! This was built by Michael Oettgen from Canada. He used our template but made it a hollow body. The options you have are limitless!
Hey Ronny, here is a pic of my first build. My shop is called the Cabinpub so, that's how I came up with the name, PUBCASTER. Hope you like it.
Hey Ronny, thanx again f/ selling such a quality template kit.The guitar turned out absolutely gorgeous & identical to the RG. There are mods & changes that clearly Ibanez doesn't offer,(it's better than an Ibanez, IMHO). I put a Dimarzio HO X2N humbucker, Schaller fixed bridge, Gotoh tuners, Black Corian nut, Maple neck w/ Ebony fretboard, stainless steel jumbo frets, recessed output jack & some other stuff..I plan on doing more business w/ you in the future. The guitar was built by Steve Wheeler Guitars out of Winfield, IL.I was hoping that you could add this beauty to the photo gallery on yourwebsite..That would be cool! Attached are some photos..
This Bass was built by Jimmy Wilson at Landing Guitars. Built for Jazz Great Dwayne Dolphin. Used our templates but modified the headstock and made it his own. Check them out: www.landingbass.com
This bass was built by Jimmy Wilson at Landing Guitars. He used our 51 P Bass templates and modified slightly. This bass was built for Craig MacGregor, current bassist for Foghat.
Attached is a photo of the guitar I build using the first custom template I bought from you. It features a curly spalted maple top and wenge back. The neck is also curly maple and wenge, with an ebony fingerboard. It is a 7-string guitar with DiMarzio Crunch Lab 7 and Liquifire 7 pickups. Your template made the process so much easier than my first build, which was done without templates.
Thanks for your help.
Jon Zinanti of Eaststreet Guitars built the Tele above. She is sexy and her name is Thelma. Made from a single piece of walnut.
Photos above show the first RR v guitar I built with your templates, I made some slight mods to the design, one was a relief to the body for fret access up top and the other was a bridge mod to utilize a Floyd Rose tremolo.
Guitar is 25.5 scale, bolt on maple neck, 24 fret rosewood fret board, jumbo fret wire, Alder body, single humbucker pickup with volume only, recessed Floyd rose tremolo with locking nut.
Once again your templates have proven worthy!
Here is a flying v that I just built utilizing your 1958 flying v template.
The guitar is 24-9/16 scale, the body is made from white Ash, set neck, neck is birds eye maple, 15 degree one piece head stock scarf cut joined, rose wood fret board, 14" radius on the fret board, jumbo fret wire, EMG HZ pickups, H4A in the neck and H4 in the bridge, locking roller bridge, graphite nut, 18:1 rotomatic tuners, finish is golden oak Danish oil and then waxed.
Brian Denney built the guitar above. He flipped the template over and made it a lefty!
Hello, Here is a picture of the guitar I built using your templates. It was my first build and your templates were a huge help and it turned out great(Plays Great). Thanks, Bryan
This is an awesome Mockingbird. This was made by a first time builder! Justin Cavender from West Virginia built this guitar out of rock maple.
Mark Teed of Florida built this sweet 59 Les Paul Standard. Excellent work Mark!
The beauty above built by Matt Blahun of Blahun Guitars:
